Experience Required
We are seeking a GIS SME with 8+ years to provide technical expertise, strategic direction, and oversight for GIS solutions.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Act as the technical expert for GIS workflows, tools, and applications.
- Oversee and perform quality assurance testing for GIS processes and solutions using tools like Jira.
- Develop and enforce GIS quality standards, testing methodologies, and best practices.
- Identify and resolve complex issues in GIS applications, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans for GIS functionality and performance validation.
- Automate validation and testing processes using scripting tools such as Python.
- Track and manage defects using Jira, ensuring efficient communication and resolution with development teams.
- Provide guidance, training, and mentorship to teams on GIS tools, testing processes, and workflows.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to align GIS solutions with business objectives and project goals.
