Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced CMS / SDL Engineer to join our team for a long-term contract opportunity based in Seattle, WA. This is a hybrid onsite role, and the ideal candidate will bring deep experience in SDL Tridion Sites and Docs, along with strong development skills in Node.js and TypeScript.

The role focuses on creating and maintaining content types, developing SDL extensions, and enhancing the publishing pipeline. You will play a key part in customizing and optimizing the SDL content management system to meet evolving business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and configure content types in SDL Sites

  • Contribute to and improve the publishing pipeline

  • Build custom SDL extensions and APIs using Node.js and TypeScript

  • Design, write, and maintain custom plugins for both SDL Sites and SDL Docs

  • Work with SDL Docs Cloud, including custom metadata, publishing pipelines, and plugins

  • Collaborate with content teams and backend developers to ensure smooth CMS operations

Required Skills:

  • Strong hands-on experience with Tridion (SDL) Sites and Docs

  • In-depth knowledge of SDL Docs Cloud architecture and capabilities

  • Experience writing and maintaining custom plugins, publishing pipelines, and custom metadata

  • Proficiency in Node.js and TypeScript

  • Solid understanding of CMS best practices and API development
