This position helps improve routine to moderately complex organizational processes and systems by reviewing, analyzing, and evaluating business systems and user needs. Performs detailed requirements analysis, documents processes, and performs user acceptance in order to understand the problem, formulate the requirements and deliver the solution.

Primary Responsibilities:

The Financial Clearance Business Analyst role provides business support for financial clearance teams by:
  • Analyzing and evaluating incoming and current work to support transitions to centralized teams
  • Creating and maintaining workflows and resources for standard work
  • Reviewing and testing functionality of various applications
  • Maintaining the export and management of reports and team metrics
  • Participating in operational meetings and project teams, monitoring project performance
  • Prioritizing work based on business needs and requirements
  • Providing team support and deploying solutions to business problems
  • Understanding Epic functionality

Required Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of specific experience with documenting processes and practices
  • 2+ years of experience with data analysis and process improvement
  • 2+ years of data management including exporting and analyzing metrics
  • 2+ years of experience participating in and prioritizing project work
  • 2+ years of experience supporting the business needs of a cross functional teams/departments
  • 2+ years of experience with patient access (this could include experience with prior authorization, referrals processing, scheduling, registration, insurance verification, benefit collections and Good Faith Estimates, etc)
  • 1+ years of experience with Epic
  • Proven proficiency using MS Excel (e.g. advanced formulas and pivot tables)
  • Reside in MN or WI


Preferred Qualifications:
  • 4+ years of experience in a business analyst role or related field
