Job Details
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Create/modify stored procedures based on specifications document.
- Create/modify custom gap tables that support stored procedures.
- Meet with Business Analyst SMES to review specifications documents.
- This is a heavily coding position, so knowledge of Microsoft Trans-Act SQL is mandatory.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience as a T-SQL programmer.
- Good understanding of T-SQL programming.
- BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related subject.
- Excellent understanding of Microsoft SQL Server.
- Design and develop tables, views, stored procedures, indexes, functions, dictionaries, and complex ad-hoc queries for SQL Server databases.
- Experience with appropriate source control and change management methodologies.
- Previous knowledge of full lifecycle activities to include requirements analysis, design, development, functional testing, pushes to production and operations/maintenance.
- Development of quality database solutions.
- Develop, implement, and optimize stored procedures and functions using T-SQL.
- Ability to analyze existing and new SQL queries for performance improvements.
- Develop procedures and scripts for data migration.
