Job Title: Sr. Visualization Engineer P3 (Tableau)

Company: Media & Entertainment

Location: Seattle, WA (4 days per week on-site)

Duration: 6 months

Rate: $80 - $88 *Hourly rate is commensurate with experience and is an estimated range provided by JBC.

Summary: We are seeking a Senior Tableau Visualization Engineer on a contractor basis to join our dynamic team in Seattle. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining advanced data visualizations using Tableau. You will work closely with data analysts, business stakeholders, and other engineers to translate complex data into actionable insights. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data visualization, excellent communication skills, and a passion for creating compelling visual stories. Understanding of HEART metrics will be advantageous

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience (5+ years) as a Tableau Visualization Engineer or in a similar role.

  • Proficiency in Tableau Desktop and/or Tableau Server.

  • Strong understanding of data visualization principles and best practices.

  • Experience with Databricks and SQL.

  • Familiarity with ETL processes.

  • Knowledge of programming languages such as Python or R is a plus.

  • Back-end Knowledge: Experience with Databricks and other big data technologies.

  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively present complex data insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Attention to Detail: Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines with a keen eye for detail.

  • Team Collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and independently when necessary.

  • Metrics Understanding: Familiarity with HEART metrics and their application in data visualization.
