Job Title: Java/J2EE Developer

Location: Mc Lean, VA

Contract-To-Hire

Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance of systems, applications, software, and hardware with Corporate policies
• Identify issues and contribute to developing solutions
• Document design processes, build procedures, and standard operating procedures
• Develop detailed project plans and track project progress
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand infrastructure needs
• Implement changes to enhance technology reliability and efficiency
• Perform basic production support tasks
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation

Skills:

• Must Have Qualifications:
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in design, implementation and production support of Java/J2EE applications,
• 1+ Spring Framework (Spring Boot), relational databases (team is using DB2 and Postgres) , SQL, Apigee, Selenium, Java Script, .
• Preferred: Angular- any version

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science
• Experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus
