Job Details

Responsibilities

The NiFi project team requires a Systems Administrator who will have the opportunity to provide:
  • Linux systems deployment
  • Systems patching and upgrades
  • Software installation and configuration
  • IAVA patching and documentation creation and maintenance.
  • Monitoring and initial troubleshooting of Linux based systems.
  • Creating POA&M's as necessary

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:
  • Five (5) years experience as a SA in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required. Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Five (5) years of additional SA experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
  • Minimum 2 years of Linux Systems Administration experience administering user accounts, performing server subsystem configuration, network management, installation of software, performing backups, configuration management, and general system maintenance.
  • DOD 8570 Required
  • TS/SCI with polygraph
  • IAVAs STE/STN and system patching
  • Experience with Elastic Search functionality
  • Knowledge of Network Protocols
  • Experienced providing customer support
  • Understanding of fundamental networking and distributed computing environment concepts, Linux desktop systems, performance tuning and capacity planning of servers (hardware and software levels)
  • Ability to write Shell and SALT scripts.
  • Write and maintain system technical documentation.
  • A self-starter who can work closely with the team, but require little oversight in completing requires SA tasks.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • AWS basic knowledge
  • Dataflow understanding
  • Experience / familiarity with NiFi
  • Security +

$86,000 - $138,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
