We are looking for a skilled ServiceNow (Java) Developer to join our dynamic team. This role focuses on integrating ServiceNow with backend systems using Java technologies while ensuring robust API solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, manage end-to-end API support, and contribute to the continuous improvement of ServiceNow offerings.

<>Primary Responsibilities:</>

  1. Integration Development:

    • Perform seamless integration of ServiceNow with backend systems using Java technologies, ensuring optimal performance and scalability.
    • Develop and maintain APIs for data creation, updates, retrieval, and deletion using ServiceNow APIs.

  2. Collaboration & Solution Delivery:

    • Work with product management, architecture, and operations teams to design and deliver robust API solutions.
    • Recommend and implement effective system solutions to meet business needs.

  3. Security & Performance:

    • Ensure the security, scalability, and performance of APIs integrated with ServiceNow.
    • Monitor API performance and resolve issues promptly to minimize downtime.

  4. Support & Troubleshooting:

    • Take ownership of end-to-end support processes, including monitoring, troubleshooting, incident response, and resolution.
    • Maintain documentation and processes to improve troubleshooting efficiency.

  5. Continuous Improvement:

    • Stay current with emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices to enhance ServiceNow integration and API offerings.
<>Education and Experience Requirements:</>

  • Minimum Education:

    • Associate s degree and 5+ years of systems analysis/application development experience.
    • OR in lieu of a degree, a combined minimum of 7 years of higher education and/or work experience, with at least 5 years in systems analysis/application development.

  • Technical Expertise:

    • Proficiency in Java Spring Boot for backend development.
    • Strong experience with ServiceNow APIs for data operations.
    • Hands-on experience with SOAP web services, REST APIs, and API integration techniques.

  • Tools & Methodologies:

    • Familiarity with Agile methodologies using tools like Scrum, JIRA, and Confluence.
<>Preferred Qualifications:</>
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to recommend scalable, efficient solutions.
  • Knowledge of ServiceNow architecture and ecosystem.
  • Experience with API security protocols and best practices.
