Job Description
Seeking a highly experienced Senior F5 Engineer to lead the planning, migration, and upgrade of F5 infrastructure, including transitioning from F5 iSeries appliances to rSeries platforms and executing a secure and scalable F5 VPN solution upgrade. This role requires deep expertise in BIG-IP, TMOS, SSL VPN (APM), and modern F5 hardware/software architectures.

Required Qualifications and Skills

7+ years of hands-on experience with F5 BIG-IP platforms and proven experience with iSeries to rSeries hardware migration, F5 APM VPN deployments and upgrades. Need to have strong knowledge of LTM, APM, SSL/TLS, DNS, HTTP/S, F5OS and tenant architecture (rSeries)
Experience with high availability configurations (Active/Standby, Sync-Failover)
Expert-level F5 BIG-IP administration, architecture, and troubleshooting, including LTM and TMOS.
Experience designing and executing F5 i-Series to R-Series migrations and platform modernization projects.
F5 Access Policy Manager (APM) expertise, including VPN design, implementation, and support.
High Availability (HA), Active/Active, disaster recovery, and application resiliency architecture design.
Global Traffic Manager (GTM) / BIG-IP DNS design, configuration, and traffic management experience.
Strong networking knowledge, including TCP/IP, DNS, routing, switching, HTTP/HTTPS, TLS/SSL, and certificate management.
Experience deploying and configuring the F5 Application Study Tool and performing application dependency analysis.
Ability to perform solution design, implementation planning, testing, migration support, and production cutover activities.
Experience producing technical documentation, operational runbooks, and conducting knowledge transfer sessions.
Preferred: Experience with F5 SSL Orchestrator (SSLO), Advanced WAF, automation tools (Ansible/Terraform), and F5 professional certifications (F5-CA, CTS, or CSE).
