Job Details

Naval Surface Warfare Center, Philadelphia Division, Code 24 is responsible for program management, engineering, technical, and logistics support for HM&E systems and equipment on U.S. Navy Submarines.

Job Description:

Provide engineering and technical support, regarding the design, repair, qualification, installation, modification, operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and testing of U.S. Navy submarine propulsion, electrical, mechanical, auxiliary and information systems.

Conduct technical reviews of in-process alterations and upgrades to HM&E systems on submarines.

Provide assistance with the coordination, planning, implementation, prioritization and introduction of HM&E projects for submarine maintenance department, systems, and facilities.

Assist in the definition of HM&E project missions, goals, tasks, and resource requirements.

Education Requirement:

Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited university or Maritime Academy.

Experience Requirement:

Ten (10) years of experience in providing system diagnostic and troubleshooting support for analog control systems; Integrated Product Team Lead for technical task involving system design, development, testing and training; experience with Submarine alterations and upgrades; including integration of team, project oversight, and drawing coordination.
