JOB SUMMARY: The ERP Infor Lead is responsible for managing the implementation and advancement of client's Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system. Additionally this position will be charged with managing short and long-term projects, ERP staff, high-level troubleshooting, communication with executive management, and ERP department budgeting.
The following duties are intended to provide a representative summary of the major duties and responsibilities and ARE NOT intended to serve as a comprehensive list of all duties performed by all employees in this classification. Incumbent(s) may not be required to perform all duties listed and may be required to perform additional, position-specific duties.
REPRESENTATIVE DUTIES
Collaborates with Finance, Accounting, Supply Chain, Human Resources and operational leaders to understand business requirements and develop an ERP roadmap to meet the challenges of the organization within areas of scope.
Reports on a regular basis the statsuccess/challenges of the ERP program. Responsible for effective project communications to numerous stakeholders utilizing various methods.
Collaborates with Health Information Technology (HIT) leaders and managers across business applications, interfaces, development, infrastructure, and data & analytics teams to develop annual ERP program budget, execution roadmap and resource plan leveling for Infor, Kronos, and related systems.
Leads multiple medium to large, complex, full-lifecycle ERP software implementation project(s) simultaneously, on time and within budget and scope. Maintains and controls the ERP program budgets. Utilizes strong organizational and project management skills to manage deliverables from all business areas and functional teams ensuring they meet the defined timelines and quality for scoping, planning, testing and implementing solutions.
Leads productive meetings at individual team, cross-functional team, senior management and executive levels.
Manages complex business issues arising from the implementation of new processes or functions; escalating to management as needed. Performs risk identification, response planning and management communication to minimize impact and probability of risks.
Facilitates data access, reporting and data analytics to integrate ERP data sources with EHR and other systems to maximize the value of integrated systems.
Provides leadership, direction, and guidance to assigned staff. Develops goals and priorities in conjunction with employees, and assigns tasks and projects. Develops staff skills and training plans. Counsels, trains, and coaches subordinate staff. Implements corrective actions and conducts performance evaluations.
Performs other duties as assigned or required.
KNOWLEDGE and SKILLS
Knowledge of effective management and leadership practices.
Knowledge of accounting and budgeting policies and procedures.
Knowledge of applicable computer system software programs.
Knowledge of healthcare operations including hospital and provider activities.
Strong knowledge and demonstrated skill in project management principles.
Skill in speaking to technical-level staff and develop written reporting and presentational content with level-appropriate messaging up to and including the senior executive level.
Skill in working in a matrix environment, particularly in cross-functional teams across multiple lines of business, over whom there is no direct authority.
Skill in using Excel and PowerPoint.
Skill in using database querying and report building tools.
Skill in working independently, multitasking, prioritizing projects and meeting deadlines.
Skill in using analytical and research skills to define and solve problems.
Skill in establishing and maintaining cooperative working relationships with others.
Skill in written and oral communication.
MINIMUM EDUCATION QUALIFICATION
A Bachelor s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field. Applicable, progressively responsible professional experience may be substituted for education on a year-for-year basis.
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATION
Five (5) years of applicable professional experience with Infor/Lawson ERP systems and/or delivering increasingly complex ERP systems implementations.
Three (3) years of experience in a management position supervising professional and other employees. An equivalent combination of relevant education and/or training may be substituted for experience.
