Key Responsibilities
- Design, configure, and manage LAN/WAN infrastructure, including Azure networking components.
- Troubleshoot complex network issues and resolve escalations efficiently.
- Monitor network performance and proactively address potential issues.
- Develop and implement network security policies and best practices, particularly within Azure environments.
- Conduct network performance analysis and capacity planning.
- Provide training to junior engineers on networking concepts and troubleshooting.
- Maintain comprehensive network documentation, including Azure configurations.
- 7-10+ years of network engineering experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Strong knowledge of LAN/WAN designs, configurations, and Azure networking.
- Expertise in network protocols (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, SNMP, VPN, BGP, OSPF).
- Experience with network security technologies (firewalls, IDS/IPS, access control) within Azure.
- Proficiency in network monitoring tools (Wireshark, SolarWinds, Nagios).
- Familiarity with network hardware/software (Cisco, Juniper, load balancers) and Azure networking components (VNETs, VPN Gateways, ExpressRoute).
- DoD 8570 IAT II certification required.
- Active TS/SCI clearance required.
- U.S. Citizenship required per government contract.
