Overview
The Senior Application Programmer will assist to identify current practices and assist in developing a roadmap to effectively digitize paper files and store documents into a repository.

Pay Range
USD $58.80 - USD $70.52 /Hr.

Responsibilities
- Review current technology (hardware and software) used for managing agency records and recommend any changes needed to address inefficiencies, maintenance issues, scalability, recoverability, and security risk including:
- Agency scanning capability.
- Document repository and indexing.
- Identify all methods of document creation and acquisition.
- Integration of other systems.
- Searching, retrieving and sharing records both internal and external.
- Tracking document lifecycle for both electronic and physical records.
- Participate in all data gathering sessions.
- Provide a gap analysis of current technology for future needs.
- Estimate cost and effort of future state.
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Here's What You Need:
- 10 or more years' experience with Software Engineering.
- Degree in Computer Science or Equivalent.
- 5 or more years' experience with document management development including scanning, indexing, storage and disposition of records.
- Knowledge of document management systems, experience with data entry, file organization, and familiarity with relevant compliance regulations,
- Implementation of custom API processes.
- Support of document capture software; Kofax Capture, IBM DataCap or similar
- ECRM implementation experience; Hyland OnBase, IBM FileNet, Oracle, MS SharePoint
- Strong analytical skills to identify current technology use and effectively recommend alternative solutions.
- Must be able to pass a background check. May require additional background checks as required by projects and/or clients at any time during employment
