We are seeking a Data Scientist to join our team in Houston, Texas. This role is a technical individual contributor role, focused on supporting business opportunities through the use of exploratory data analytics, machine learning models and generative AI opportunities. Responsibilities:
Lead and participate in multi-disciplinary projects aimed at providing business solutions to a diverse set of problems ranging from production automation/optimization, drilling and completion process optimization, to back-office process improvement and automation.
Generate and deploy dashboards to assist in operations.
Contribute to the adoption of new technologies and best practices for analytical workflows.
Work collaboratively within a team to support core business functions.
Leverage expertise in Apache Kafka, Apache Pig, Apache Spark, Cloud Technologies, Data Visualization, Algorithm Implementation, and Analytics to drive innovation and optimize operational outcomes.
Utilize Python and data mining tools to manage large datasets.
Develop APIs and work with AWS Technologies to enhance business solutions.
Apply computer vision aided operations to improve efficiency and accuracy.
Maintain a detail-oriented approach to meet deadlines in a fast-paced and fluid environment.
Requirements
Proficiency in Apache Kafka, Apache Pig, and Apache Spark is required.
Demonstrable knowledge of Cloud Technologies is necessary.
Experience in Data Visualization and Algorithm Implementation is essential.
Proven skills in Analytics and Apache Hadoop are required.
Proficiency in API Development is necessary.
Prior experience with AWS Technologies is a must.
