Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Google Cloud Platform DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and maintain cloud-based infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines. The ideal candidate will have experience in Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform), Kubernetes, Terraform, and CI/CD automation to support scalable, secure, and reliable deployments.

Responsibilities:
Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Develop and maintain infrastructure using Terraform, Deployment Manager, or other IaC tools.
CI/CD Pipelines: Automate build, test, and deployment workflows using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or Cloud Build.
Kubernetes & Containers: Deploy and manage containerized applications using Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE), Docker, and Helm.
Monitoring & Logging: Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting using Google Cloud Operations Suite (Stackdriver), Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK.
Security & Compliance: Ensure security best practices in Google Cloud Platform using IAM, VPC Service Controls, Cloud Armor, and Secrets Manager.
Networking & Scalability: Configure and optimize networking components like VPCs, Load Balancers, Cloud CDN, and Cloud NAT.
SRE & Reliability: Improve system availability, scalability, and reliability through automated incident response and self-healing mechanisms.
Cost Optimization: Monitor and optimize Google Cloud Platform resource usage and costs with Cloud Billing, Recommender, and FinOps best practices.
Collaboration: Work closely with developers, security teams, and operations teams to improve cloud-based deployments.



Required Skills & Qualifications:
Experience: 3+ years in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE).
Cloud Expertise: Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform) services like Compute Engine, Cloud Functions, Cloud Run, BigQuery, Pub/Sub, and Cloud SQL.
Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Strong knowledge of Terraform, CloudFormation, or Deployment Manager.
CI/CD: Experience with Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Cloud Build, ArgoCD, or similar tools.
Containerization: Expertise in Docker, Kubernetes (GKE), Helm, and related technologies.
Monitoring & Logging: Familiarity with Cloud Logging, Cloud Monitoring, Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK Stack.
Scripting: Proficiency in Python, Bash, or Go for automation and scripting.
Networking & Security: Understanding of IAM, VPC, Firewalls, Load Balancers, and Cloud Armor.
Version Control: Experience with Git and Git workflows.
Agile & DevOps Practices: Experience working in Agile environments using DevOps methodologies.



Preferred Qualifications:
Certifications: Google Cloud certifications (e.g., Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer, Professional Cloud Architect).
SRE Practices: Experience with SRE principles, SLIs/SLOs, and error budgets.
Multi-cloud Experience: Familiarity with AWS or Azure in addition to Google Cloud Platform.
Database & Messaging: Experience with BigQuery, Firestore, Pub/Sub, or Apache Kafka.
