Job Details

We are looking for a Data Protection Specialist with 3-6 years of data security experience.

The position is expected to be a full time, remote, permanent job based out of the north east.

No 3rd parties and no sponsorship available.

Primary responsibilities include Data Discovery, Data Loss Prevention (DLP), tool engineering, and interaction with business units to gather business requirements.

Provide engineering support for Data Discovery, DLP, and Data Classification systems which include creating detection rules, reducing false positive detections, deploying and maintaining tools.

Must have a minimum of 3-4 years of experience in Data Security and/or Data Governance.

Skills:

  • Varonis SaaS engineering and analysis experience is a must
  • Microsoft Purview DLP engineering and analysis experience or other DLP
  • Microsoft Purview Information Protection engineering and analysis experience
  • Keyword, Regex, Exact Data Matching (EDM) methodology for policy development
  • NIST, ISO 27001, CIS standards
