job summary:



Mandatory Qualifications



Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field or equivalent work experience.



A minimum of seven (7) years of .NET experience in multiple IT areas and two (2) or more years of relevant architecture experience.



Experience providing design recommendations based on long-term IT organization strategy.



Experience developing .NET enterprise level application and custom integration solutions including major enhancements and interfaces, functions and features.



Experience providing expertise regarding the integration of applications on an enterprise-wide level.



Experience developing programming and development standards and procedures as well as programming architectures for .NET code reuse.



Experience in state-of-the art programming languages and object-oriented approaches in designing, coding, testing and debugging programs.



Experience in researching and maintaining knowledge of emerging technologies and possible applications for enterprise-wide use.



Expeience as a .NET full stack developer.



Experience ensuring application performance and security standards through best practices.



Highly proficient in both spoken and written English.



Preferred Qualifications



Able to work onsite in Tallahassee, Florida.



Experience in Visual Studio with GitHub Copilot



Applications Architect: :




  1. Provide design recommendations based on long-term IT organization strategy.


  2. Develop enterprise-level application and custom integration solutions including major enhancements and interfaces, functions, and features.


  3. Use a variety of platforms to provide automated systems applications.


  4. Provide expertise regarding the integration of applications across the Department.


  5. Determine specifications, and plan, design, and develop, the most complex and business-critical software solutions, while utilizing appropriate software engineering processes - either individually or in concert with the associated project team.


  6. Develop programming and development standards and procedures as well as programming architectures for code reuse.


  7. Use in-depth knowledge of state-of-the-art programming languages and object-oriented approaches in designing, coding, testing, and debugging programs.


  8. Understand, and consistently apply, the attributes and processes of current application development methodologies.


  9. Research and maintain knowledge of emerging technologies and possible applications for potential use by the Department.
