The successful candidate will possess a wide base of core technical knowledge, expertise in specific technology disciplines, in addition to demonstrated experience authoring technical volumes of Federal proposals for IT services. This is a primarily remote position, but candidates must be located within reasonable driving distance of Rockville, MD and Washington, D.C. to attend in-person meetings with clients and EIT executive leadership. We are seeking a United States Citizen or Permanent Resident who can work on our W2 as a full-time employee (salary + benefits). No 3rd party Corp-to-Corp inquiries will be entertained.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the company's lead technologist, providing vision and leadership in defining, executing, and advancing comprehensive and coherent technology strategies.
- Lead architecture and design engagements to demonstrate how our company capabilities and past performance meets the strategic needs of customers, in the areas of IT Transformation, Digital Services, Platform as a Service, Enterprise Service Management.
- Lead overall technical solutioning, build strategy and author the technical response to Sources Sought, Request for Information (RFI), Request for Proposals (RFP), for Definitive Value contracts, Task orders, IDIQs, BPAs, GWAC opportunities.
- Act as technical lead and supervisor when needed on existing client engagements. Attend client project meetings and serve as one of our resources for corporate technical reach back for existing and potential customers.
- Create and communicate high-level architectures and strategies to audiences up to and including the CIO/CTO level.
- Understand the business strategy of the customer and articulate how our company can enable and deliver value to their organization, for the current and future technology landscape.
- Depict complex information and architecture graphicly where appropriate, translating business needs into understandable, documented requirements. Articulate solutions via diagrams and engineer sound technical advancements that fulfill those requirements in a reliable and cost competitive manner.
- United States Citizenship or Permanent Residence with ability to obtain and maintain a Government security clearance (Public Trust, Secret)
- 15+ years of professional experience in Information Technology, with a minimum of 5+ years of experience providing technical solutions to the US Federal Government to include:
- Developing and implementing IT architecture plans, Enterprise Information Architecture standards and guidelines, software development methodologies and strategic plans.
- Experience in managing projects and/or implementing systems using DevOps, DevSecOps, Multi-Cloud (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), Digital Transformation, Robotic Process Automation (RPA), Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), Modern Application Architectures, Automation/Orchestration, Cybersecurity, Application security, Zero Trust Architecture (ZTA), Salesforce, MuleSoft, etc.
- Providing technical leadership to large scale proposals in the Federal sector.
- Authority to Operate (ATO) process, Agile software development, configuration, and release management.
- Expertise with functional and systems architecture, data integration, and data migration.
- 5+ years of experience in a customer facing role with proven success influencing senior technology leaders and driving change at Federal agencies.
- Strong knowledge of US Government procurement processes and ability to guide clients in the evaluation, selection, and implementation of new technologies helping to ensure fiscally responsible procurement.
- Strong interpersonal skills, mentally adaptable and flexible in dealing with people at various levels of government, corporate and project management.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with experience creating PowerPoint presentations, leading oral presentations, and technical proposal solutioning.
- Willingness to jump in and roll up sleeves alongside colleagues, and partners to get things done faster and better.
- Be able to communicate in a professional manner. Must be able to follow and understand instructions and react professionally in all work situations.
- Must have strong problem-solving skills, good judgment, and be able to work independently.
Desired:
- Multiple relevant technical certifications, such as, but not limited to: AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional, Google Cloud Platform Professional Cloud Architect, Google Cloud Platform Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer, Microsoft Certified: Cybersecurity Architect Expert, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, SAFe for Architects, TOGAF Certified Architect, TOGAF 9 Certification, Zachman Certified Enterprise Architect or other similar.
