Hiring a MarTech Business Analyst for a client in the Marketing/Advertising services space.

Location: 2 days onsite in South Tampa office, 3 days remote
Salary: $60,000-72,000
Years of Experience: 1-3 years

Overview:
The MarTech Business Analyst bridges the gap between marketing teams and technical teams; analyzing data from marketing technology platforms to identify insights and advise on strategic MarTech decisions + ensuring effective implementations of technology.


Responsibilities:



  • Requirements Gathering: Understand business objectives and translate them into functional requirements



  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyze marketing data from various sources (CRM, website analytics, marketing automation platforms) to identify trends and generate actionable insights



  • Dashboard Development: Design and maintain data dashboards to provide insights to stakeholders



  • Project Management: Collaborate with development teams to implement new marketing technology + manage project timelines



  • User Experience Analysis: Gather feedback from users to identify areas for improvement



  • Competitive Analysis: Stay updated on industry trends and emerging marketing technologies to identify opportunities for improvement



  • Marketing Technology Stack Management: Evaluate and recommend new marketing technologies (more of a "Nice to Have" but would set a candidate apart with Marketing technology experience


What You Need:

Skillset:



  • Business Acumen: Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders



  • Data Analysis Skills: Proficiency in data manipulation, statistical analysis, and data visualization techniques



  • Technical Writing: Ability to execute detailed technical documentation based on business process design and input



  • Project Management: Experience in managing project timelines, priorities, and deliverables


Education:


  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in business administration, marketing, information technology, computer science or related fields



  • 1-3 years of experience in marketing, technical writing or project management



  • 1-3 years of experience working directly with technical teams for the purpose of implementing software platforms or improvements
