Target Salary Range
$104,000 - $166,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
We are looking to add a Software Development Manager to our team of professionals.
What you'll do:
- Provide general administrative support to a direct and contracted staff
- Perform hiring activities including posting, interviewing, and selecting candidates in line with corporate and business unit procedures
- Initiate security/access requests
- Manage acclimation activities for new staff
- Develop mentoring agreements
- Assist team members in creating and executing career development plans
- Ensure staff completes role-based training and other required training in a timely manner
- Execute performance management activities, including the establishment of goals, the monitoring of performance and providing feedback to staff
- Identify and correct substandard performance
- Administer total compensation package including planning and execution of salary and bonus actions
- Administer recognition program
- Comply with records management directives
- Manage time recording activities of team members within Deltek
- Familiarity HR related systems such as Workday, Deltek, Beeline is desirable.
- Working knowledge of SLACK, Confluence, Jira and Github
- Supports process improvements and recommends changes in alignment with business tactics and strategy for area of responsibility
- Assist program in audits
- Advise management and peers on matters of importance to areas of responsibility and influence direction-setting
- Lead or support projects as assigned
- Contribute to management and tracking of customer deliverables as assigned
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- 10 years of experience, may have supervisory or lead experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer information systems, management information systems, or similar.
- Minimum of 9 years' experience in technical management, preferably within a government contracting environment.
- Advanced knowledge of legacy mainframe systems and languages (COBOL, ALC, CICS), AWS cloud, innovation and integration.
- Experience working with and managing development teams, provide coaching and guidance, conflict resolution.
- Experience in performing solo or team interviews.
- Extensive experience in collaborating with cross organizational teams, customers and end users.
- Experience ensuring optimal software functionality, performance and related security.
- Knowledge of development methods that include Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to influence others.
