We are seeking a recent graduate with a BS in Computer Science or Computer Engineering to join our DevOps team as a Junior DevOps Automation Software Engineer. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with our team to build and maintain automation tools and processes that support our development and deployment pipelines.

Job Description

What you'll do:
  • Collaborate with the DevOps team to design, develop, and implement automation solutions.
  • Utilize GitHub and GitHub Actions to manage code repositories and automate workflows.
  • Develop and maintain Jenkins pipelines for continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD).
  • Work with Digital.ai Release and Digital.ai Deploy to streamline release and deployment processes.
  • Manage and configure Artifactory for artifact storage and management.
  • Participate in Agile software development processes, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to automation tools and processes.
  • Document automation processes and provide training to team members as needed.

What you'll bring (Basic Qualifications):
  • BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • 0-2 Years of Experience in Software Engineering or related field.

  • Internship or project experience in DevOps or automation.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn and adapt quickly to new technologies.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Passion for automation and continuous improvement.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Familiarity with GitHub and GitHub Actions.
  • Experience with Jenkins and Jenkins pipelines.
  • Exposure to Digital.ai Release and Digital.ai Deploy.
  • Knowledge of Artifactory.
  • Familiarity with other CI/CD tools and practices.
  • Basic scripting skills (e.g., Python, Groovy).

For U.S. based candidates only, for purposes of complying with U.S. pay transparency requirements, the base pay range for this position is $82,400.00 - 123,600.00 USD per year. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, geographic location, and skill set.
This position is also eligible for a 5% annual performance bonus. This position will stay open on the career website until at least 3/15/2025.
*The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%,120% or 130% of salary in certain areas.
