Job Details

Role: Network Technician


Location: Garland, TX 75040


Pay Rate: $20/hr to $25/hr


Duration: 6 Months 5D on site.



About the Role:



  • We are seeking a highly motivated Network Technician to join our team on a Contract basis.

  • The candidate will be responsible for supporting network infrastructure deployment and expansion, working closely with internal teams and external vendors to ensure smooth project execution.


Responsibilities:



  • Deliver simple, sustainable, and repeatable network solutions and processes.

  • Collaborate with Network Engineering and Technical Project Manager teams for new design and product rollout.

  • Troubleshoot networking, routing, and interconnectivity issues.

  • Manage work priorities through ticketing system and workflow.

  • Travel within the local region may be required.

  • Participate in hardware migration, configuration, and rollout.



Education Qualification:



  • 5+ years of relevant experience.

  • Ethernet and IP networking knowledge.

  • Experience in large-scale datacenter network implementations.

  • Experience in virtualized enterprise networking environments.


Required:



  • Strong TCP/IP networking knowledge.

  • Broad understanding of infrastructure technologies.

  • Knowledge of network cabling and optic types.

  • Familiarity with common networking terms.

  • Excellent analytical skills.

  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure.

  • Effective prioritization and time management skills.

  • Physical ability to lift computer equipment up to 35lbs.
