Job Role: ETL lead/Developer (ETL/Redshift/DWH /SQL)
Location: St Louis, MO Onsite only
Duration: Long-term
Hire-Type: Contract
Snowflake to Redshift migration exp or work on both.

Job Description:
  • Strong ETL Background (Data Extraction, Transformation and loading in target from heterogeneous data sources)
  • Writing SQL Stored Procedures for ETL.
  • Work with scheduling tools like One Automation
  • Develop and provide inputs to design specifications within defined architecture, utilizing standard procedures and techniques.
  • Interface with Product Owners, Scrum Masters and Business Clients to clarify requirements, as appropriate.
  • Set up complex workflows and schedules
  • Develop ETL data workflows and code for new data integrations and maintain/enhance existing workflows and code.
  • Write documentation that describes installation and operating procedures.
  • Deep knowledge of data extraction, transformation & loading (ETL) methods using Teradata.
  • Advanced SQL skills (Teradata and RDBMS like Oracle, MS SQL, DB2).
  • Advanced hands-on experience with Data Warehousing.
  • Experience participating in multiple technical projects using Agile methodology
  • 5 years of experience with SQL Query Design in large-scale data warehouse environments.
  • 5 years of experience in data collection, database design, and report development.
  • Demonstrated experience in delivering IT/BI solutions.
  • Expertise in Query optimization and Performance-tuning techniques
  • Knowledge in Teradata Stored Procedures, BTEQ, Utilities
  • A person must have good analytical skills
  • Good knowledge of UNIX programming.
  • Good communication skills
