<>Position Overview:</>

We are seeking an experienced Microsoft 365 Consultant to join our team and help clients deploy and configure Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive with baseline security controls. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of experience in configuring M365 services for mid to large-scale organizations, with a strong background in ensuring secure, efficient, and compliant configurations of Teams, SharePoint, and Purview. As a Microsoft 365 Consultant, you will be responsible for delivering best-in-class solutions, assisting clients in maximizing the value of M365 tools while ensuring they meet their organizational needs.

<>Key Responsibilities:</>
  • M365 Deployment & Configuration:

    • Lead the deployment and configuration of Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive for clients, ensuring smooth integration with existing IT environments.
    • Configure M365 baseline security controls for Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive to ensure the protection of sensitive data and user privacy.
    • Implement best practices for Teams configuration, including channel creation, app integrations, meetings, and collaboration tools to enhance productivity.
    • Configure SharePoint sites, document libraries, and workflows to streamline document management, collaboration, and content sharing across the organization.
  • Security & Compliance:

    • Apply baseline security controls and governance frameworks to M365 applications, ensuring data protection, access control, and compliance.
    • Implement data loss prevention (DLP), conditional access policies, and retention policies across Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive to mitigate risks and ensure regulatory compliance.
    • Configure Microsoft Purview for data governance, security, and compliance management, including data classification, labeling, and retention.
  • Consulting & Solution Design:

    • Collaborate with clients to understand their business and technical requirements and design M365 solutions that align with their needs, focusing on Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive functionality.
    • Provide expert guidance on best practices for utilizing M365 tools to improve collaboration, communication, and document management.
    • Design and implement customized solutions for collaboration, content management, and internal communications based on the specific requirements of each organization.
  • Migration & Integration:

    • Lead M365 migration projects, assisting clients in moving from legacy systems to Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive environments.
    • Configure integrations with third-party applications and services, ensuring seamless data flow and optimized functionality.
    • Assist with the migration of data to SharePoint Online and OneDrive, ensuring a smooth transition while maintaining data integrity.
  • Training & Support:

    • Provide end-user training and support on M365 applications, including Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive, to ensure user adoption and proficient use of the platform.
    • Create user documentation, knowledge base articles, and training materials to facilitate the smooth operation of M365 services post-deployment.
    • Offer ongoing technical support and troubleshooting assistance to resolve issues and optimize the M365 environment.
  • Project Management & Collaboration:

    • Work with project managers to ensure M365 deployments are completed on time and within budget.
    • Collaborate with IT teams, business stakeholders, and other consultants to ensure that M365 solutions align with the organization s strategic goals and technical environment.
    • Provide regular updates and progress reports to stakeholders, ensuring alignment and transparency throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Continuous Improvement:

    • Stay up to date with the latest Microsoft 365 updates, features, and security enhancements, ensuring that clients are leveraging the full potential of their M365 environment.
    • Continuously assess and improve the configuration, security, and functionality of Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive environments, offering recommendations for improvement.
    • Identify opportunities for automation, optimization, and streamlining processes within the M365 suite.
<>Qualifications:</>
  • 10+ years of experience in configuring and deploying Microsoft 365 services, with a focus on Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive.
  • In-depth knowledge of M365 security and compliance features, including baseline security controls, data loss prevention (DLP), retention policies, and Microsoft Purview.
  • Proven experience in deploying, configuring, and managing Teams for collaboration, including app integrations, meetings, and channel configurations.
  • Strong background in SharePoint site and document management, including libraries, workflows, and permissions management.
  • Expertise in Microsoft Purview, including data governance, compliance, and retention management.
  • Hands-on experience with M365 migration projects, particularly moving from legacy systems to Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive.
  • Strong understanding of identity and access management in the M365 ecosystem, including Azure Active Directory and conditional access.
  • Ability to troubleshoot technical issues in M365 environments and provide timely solutions to ensure continuous operations.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and end users.
  • Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring client needs are met on time and to specification.
<>Preferred Skills:</>
  • Microsoft 365 certifications, such as Microsoft Certified: Teams Administrator Associate, Microsoft Certified: SharePoint Expert, or Microsoft Certified: Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals.
  • Experience with PowerShell for M365 automation and configuration tasks.
  • Familiarity with third-party tools and integrations for M365, including AvePoint, Veeam, or other cloud security tools.
  • Experience in large-scale M365 deployments, especially for enterprise or government clients.
