Job Description for Azure ML Platform engineer

Overview: We are looking for Azure ML Platform engineer to enhance/build the Azure ML environment to support the growing need to execute business processes. Also, improving the resiliency, addressing security vulnerabilities, managing access control, monitoring and alerting on events/issues, and managing the cost of groups of applications.

Role Description and Expectations

  • Review the current ML architecture, identify gaps, and design a resiliency solution.
  • Implement the design for all environments.
  • Implement and test High Availability and Disaster Recovery strategy by design.
  • Develop best practice guidelines for common patterns in development, deployment, and operations.
  • Develop defined CICD pipelines for application deployment automation.
  • Establish monitoring and auditing process for environment health, run status, and access.
  • Enhance current security controls for users and process authorization.

Qualifications

  • Azure ML platform development and support.
  • 3+ years of AI/ML platform engineering experience. 3+ years of experience developing platform orchestration code in Azure.
  • Azure CLI, Python, Terraform as primary. Understanding Java.
  • Strong experience with delivering Cloud Infrastructure as Code leveraging CI/CD, Terraform, and Git Actions.
  • Experienced with AI ecosystem tooling - AIOps (evaluation, monitoring, governance, security).
  • Must be a self-starter, and ability to take independent action to achieve results. Highly developed critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • B.S. of Computer Science or related fields.
