Java Cloud Developer

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Java Cloud Developer in Westlake, TX.

Responsibilities:
* Development and implementation of software solutions in highly scalable environments with focus on financial technologies particularly electronic trading
* Successful technology and business solutions engineer with experience leading highly skilled teams
* End-to-end Software Engineering in an Agile environment

REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology or equivalent, with a preference for advanced study
* 10+ years of IT experience as a developer
* Experience working in an Agile Environment, with a strong preference for Scrum certifications
* Demonstrated work experience with cloud technologies; Industry certifications are welcome, but hands on experience and expertise are better
* You are experienced in modern web application packaging and deployment using Yeoman, Grunt/Gulp is a huge plus
* You are experienced with Ant/Maven, Nexus, Git/Jenkins or NPM is highly preferred
* You have expertise in dealing with large amount of data in real-time applications with big-data technologies such as KDB/Q or similar
* You are proficient in Java, Spring Boot, REST services, and have exposure to cloud technologies such as AWS or Microsoft Azure
* Having excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills and the ability to run with multiple tasks at a given time
* Proven hands-on development skills with technology leadership
* Ability to help clarify user requirements and define accurate use cases
* Ability to translate business needs into technology solutions
* Previous exposure to trading systems or brokerage technology is strongly preferred
* Preferred knowledge on ag grid
* Preferred knowledge on JEST unit testing framework
* Familiarity with event driven and service-oriented processing is desired
* JavaScript skills are a plus

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
