Nexagen is seeking a (Acquisition) Program Analyst to oversee procurement activities for a critical government program. This role involves managing both pre-award and post-award procurement functions, ensuring compliance with acquisition regulations, and supporting program leadership with expert contracting guidance. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced procurement professional to make a meaningful impact while working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
NOTE: This is a remote position requiring up to 25% CONUS travel. As a Nexagen employee supporting a government contract, you must remain flexible, as work location requirements are subject to change at any time based on government regulations and policy updates. Compliance with these changes is essential to maintaining your role.
Position Responsibilities:
Estimate costs and develop Independent Government Cost Estimates (IGCEs).
Collaborate with acquisition centers to establish procurement timelines and key milestones.
Develop comprehensive acquisition requirements packages and refine performance work statements (PWS).
Conduct market research to support procurement planning and decision-making.
Oversee all contract reporting requirements, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Serve as a trusted advisor to program leadership, providing guidance on acquisition policies, contracting strategies, and procurement regulations.
Ensure the effective execution of contract objectives, supporting the program s success.
Qualifications:
Bachelor s Degree in relevant discipline.
8-10 yrs experience in procurement, acquisitions, or government contracting.
Demonstrated knowledge of contract types, methods and techniques, including experience working with DFARS and government acquisition processes.
5-yrs experience working within a DoD program office or supporting a defense acquisition program.
Proven experience developing Independent Government Cost Estimates (IGCEs) and acquisition requirements packages for government contracts.
