Job Title: Level 3 Support Engineer - Azure Integration

Location: Remote

Contract Type: W2

Working Hours:

  • 40 Hours a week. Rotational On call support during non-business hours and Monthly Once Sunday Production Deployment Support.

Job Summary:

The Level 3 Azure Integration Specialist will be responsible for designing, developing, and supporting Azure-based integration solutions for Dynamics 365 CRM and other third-party applications. This role involves working with Azure services such as Logic Apps, Azure Functions, Service Bus, App Services, and APIs to facilitate both inbound and outbound integrations. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Azure cloud services with a focus on CRM integrations, ensuring seamless data flow and system interactions between Dynamics 365 CRM and external systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide Level 3 support for Azure-based integrations, including troubleshooting and resolving issues related to Logic Apps, Azure Functions, Service Bus, App Services, and external APIs.
  • Design and develop scalable integration solutions between Dynamics 365 CRM and third-party systems using Azure services.
  • Develop and manage inbound and outbound integration requests using REST APIs, SOAP services, and webhooks, ensuring smooth communication between Dynamics 365 CRM and external applications.
  • Lead root cause analysis for recurring integration issues, develop and implement solutions to enhance system performance, and prevent future incidents.
  • Collaborate with functional and development teams to ensure integration aligns with business requirements and support CRM initiatives.
  • Oversee the deployment of integration solutions through all stages-design, development, testing, and production (SIT, UAT, Production).
  • Manage and maintain Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines for integration solution deployment, ensuring successful and consistent releases across environments.
  • Perform monthly production releases, providing support during non-business hours as necessary to minimize downtime or disruption.
  • Maintain documentation of integration processes, best practices, and troubleshooting steps to ensure knowledge sharing across teams.
  • Proactively monitor and optimize integration workflows and services to ensure reliability, efficiency, and scalability.
  • Work closely with CRM team to identify and implement improvements in integration processes, with a focus on operational efficiency and user experience.
  • Ensure integrations comply with security, privacy, and compliance standards, including GDPR, when handling customer data and external system interactions.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide status updates, issue resolution details, and integration insights.

Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of hands-on experience in Azure integrations, particularly with services like Logic Apps, Azure Functions, Service Bus, and App Services.
  • Strong knowledge of Dynamics 365 CE modules
  • Strong experience in designing, developing, and supporting integrations between Dynamics 365 CRM (or other CRM systems) and external third-party systems.
  • In-depth knowledge of REST and SOAP API integration, webhooks, and data transfer protocols used in CRM integrations.
  • Proficiency in creating and managing Azure Logic Apps for automating workflows between systems and services.
  • Solid experience working with Azure Service Bus, Event Grid, and other event-driven architecture patterns for CRM integrations.
  • Hands-on experience in integrating Dynamics 365 CRM with external applications via custom connectors, APIs, and middleware solutions.
  • Proficiency in Azure Functions, including writing, testing, and maintaining functions for backend integrations and data processing.
  • Strong experience in writing unit tests for web APIs and Azure Functions to ensure reliability and robustness of integration solutions.
  1. Familiarity with unit testing frameworks (such as MSTest, xUnit, or NUnit) and mocking libraries (like Moq) for testing Azure Functions and web APIs.
  2. Ability to write test cases to validate API endpoints, responses, and data flow for both inbound and outbound requests.
  3. Experience with Azure Functions tools (e.g., Azure Functions Core Tools, Azure Test Frameworks) for running and automating unit tests.
  • Experience in managing Azure DevOps pipelines for CI/CD and version control of integration solutions.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex integration issues across systems.
  • Familiarity with Azure Active Directory (AAD) and managing security/authentication for cloud integrations.
  • Ability to document integration workflows, create detailed technical documentation, and share best practices.
  • Proficient in understanding CRM requirements, working closely with business and technical teams to define integration objectives.
  • Microsoft certifications related to Azure or CRM solutions are a plus.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience working in an ITIL-based support environment.
  • Familiarity with event-driven architecture, including integration using Azure Event Hubs or similar services.
  • Experience with GDPR and other data privacy standards in the context of CRM integrations.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience working in cross-functional teams
