Description

We are in search of a Data Scientist II to join our team in Clearwater, Florida. The role involves utilizing a variety of data science skills to analyze and interpret complex data, helping to drive strategic decisions within our organization.

Responsibilities:

Apply Python, Command line, Power BI, SQL to analyze and interpret complex datasets.
Develop predictive models and machine learning algorithms to uncover patterns and trends.
Create clear visualizations and reports that effectively depict data insights.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and provide data-driven solutions.
Ensure the accuracy and integrity of data used for analysis.
Continually enhance data collection procedures to include relevant data for analysis.
Stay updated on the latest industry trends and advancements in data science.
Implement effective strategies to optimize data quality and data extraction processes.
Work closely with IT teams to maintain system performance and ensure maximum uptime.
Proactively identify opportunities to improve data systems and processes.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Data Scientist or similar role
Proficient in Python and SQL
Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Power BI
Strong understanding of machine learning models, data mining, and statistical analysis tools
Experience with command line scripting, data structures, and algorithms
Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent problem-solving skills, ability to adapt in a fast-paced and changing environment
Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical audiences
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
