Foodservice E&S dealers, distributors and manufacturers rely on the specialized services and industry expertise that CFI Marketing has developed over the years.
CFI is looking to have an Accounting Associate join our growing team in Jacksonville, FL. The primary focus of this role is to support bookkeeping and general office functions for our organization and leadership team. The ideal candidate will be a highly organized and detail-oriented professional. NOTE: THIS IS AN IN-OFFICE ROLE.
Essential Functions of the Role:
Enter and manage Accounts Receivables and Accounts Payable in QuickBooks in a timely and accurate manner, including bank deposits and reconciliation
Maintain communication with vendors and customers throughout the bookkeeping process, handling inquiries promptly and professionally
Process, send, and track invoices and payments, manage aging reports, and follow up on overdue accounts
Organize employee timesheets for payroll, including time card management and tracking
Provide executive assistance for President and Director of Operations
Organize and execute conference and travel needs, including event organization and preparing and packing materials for conferences
General office duties that include: Filing, answer phones, manage inquiries, providing excellent customer service, etc
Other duties and support as assigned, showing flexibility and adaptability to shifting priorities
What You Bring to CFI:
At least two years prior administrative/bookkeeping experience, including accounts payable and receivable management
Experienced in QuickBooks or similar accounting software, with a willingness to learn if necessary
Intermediate to advanced experience in Microsoft Excel, including proficiency with basic formulas and data entry
Experience with Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Calendar, etc.)
Minimum 2-year associate's degree
Ability to handle fiscal information with sensitivity and integrity
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Independent judgment is required to plan, prioritize, and organize a diverse workload, demonstrating strong time management skills
Ability to meet deadlines while multitasking, prioritizing tasks effectively
Ability to work both independently and in a team, showing strong communication skills
Flexibility to take on new tasks based on ever-changing needs, being self-motivated and proactive
Reliable and dependable, with a strong work ethic
