We are looking for an experienced OpenText Exstream Developer with a strong track record of architecting, implementing, and maintaining Exstream design and run-time environments, for both real-time and high-volume batch applications.

The Client Reporting Technology (CRT) group champions innovative and scalable technology solutions to deliver a superior client communication experience, through multiple delivery channels. Some of CRT's software products include brokerage and bank statement applications, letters, tax documents, trade confirmations, operational and marketing communications, and regulatory forms.

In this position, you will administer and mature CRT's OpenText Exstream design and run-time environments. Your responsibilities will include setting product direction with internal and external stakeholders, implementing new add-on products and features, ensuring CRT's architectural and design governance is applied, coordinating upstream and downstream system integrations, and improving CRT's overall development and deployment pipeline for the OpenText Exstream product suite.

What you'll do:

We are looking for a technology leader who is enthusiastic about working across multiple communication verticals to enhance and streamline our existing communication pipelines, as well as increase our efficiency through tooling enhancements, process improvements, and overall platform modernization. You will be specifically responsible for implementing, administering, and maturing our OpenText Exstream design and run-time environments. You will not only maintain and improve CRT's existing high-volume batch-based Linux run-time environment, but will help us modernize towards the use of additional OpenText products (such as Communications Server and Content Author), to provide enhanced workload and content management capabilities. In addition to these responsibilities, you will also help us architect and implement a modernized solution for both 1-to-1 and 1-to-many real-time multi-channel communications through the use of the Empower product. The role will require a high level of knowledge and responsibility, yet has the support structure necessary for development and growth.

The role will focus on the following areas:

  • Exstream Platform Architecture - Set direction for, and help implement our adoption of new products and features, including but not limited to Communications Server, Content Author, Empower, CAS, Assured Delivery, etc.

  • Exstream Product Administration and Oversight- Manage Exstream versions in use within our design and run-time environments, including license management and the planning/prioritization of product version upgrades.

  • Risk Assessment - Code review and approval processes, scope management, and delivery quality.

  • Executing - Build and release coordination, deployment tactics, and issue management.

  • Measuring - Establish, mature, and automate metrics for application quality, communication delivery success, and other KPIs.

  • Process Improvement/Automation - Tool/feature adoption and improvements, process automation and innovation.

  • Education - Constant education for stakeholders and engineers regarding product capabilities, adoption, and best practices in the CCM space.

  • Mentoring - Mentor and coach team members.
