IT Sr. Database Administrator
SALARY ENTRY: $90,143.30 Max $ 150,348.64 Annually
Miami-Dade County Information Technology Department (ITD) is recruiting IT Sr. Database Administrator that will be assigned to the Oracle Database Services group in the Data Management and Integrations Division.
Experience in the following is preferred:
- Installing and upgrading DBMS software, database security, backup and recovery, database performance monitoring and tuning, resizing, restructuring, and maintaining databases; defining, and maintaining database objects, troubleshooting and problem resolution; database copying to various environments and usage of various Database related tools.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree. Five years of experience in the support of Database Management Systems (DBMS) including installation, patching, troubleshooting, database installations and restructuring, database backup/restore and cloning and programming and/or system maintenance are required. Additional experience in the support of Database Management Systems (DBMS) including installation, patching, troubleshooting, database installations and restructuring, database backup/restore and cloning and programming and/or system maintenance may substitute for the required college education on a year-for-year basis.
