Title: Automation Test Engineer

Job Type: Long Term Contract

Location: 100% Remote work

JOB DESCRIPTION

Technical Skills:

  1. Test Automation & Development:
  2. Look for candidates with strong experience in test automation (5+ years for Sr., 7+ years for Lead) and experience in data science or software engineering.
  3. Test automation tools like Great Expectations, Lambda Test, Selenium, and Cucumber should be familiar to the candidate.
  4. Modern Data Stack:

Candidates should have experience (2+ years) with a modern data stack. (A modern Data Stack is a suite of cloud-native tools and technologies designed to streamline the process of collecting, storing, processing, analyzing, and visualizing data)., including:

  1. Data ingestion AWS Glue
  2. Data storage Databricks
  3. Object stores like S3
  4. Processing frameworks like Spark
  5. Workflow management tools like Airflow
  6. Lakehouse architectures and real-time databases
  7. Big Data Ecosystem:
  8. Knowledge of the Big Data ecosystem is preferred, including data pipelines, data transformation, and data cataloging tools.
  9. Programming:
  10. Proficiency in Python is essential for automation, data engineering, and building test frameworks.
  11. CI/CD & DevOps Tools:
  12. Understanding of CI/CD automation and DevOps/DevSecOps toolchains for application deployment, testing, and maintaining operational platforms.
  13. Agile Methodology:
  14. Candidates must be familiar with Scaled Agile processes, participating in Agile ceremonies and practices.
  15. Industry Knowledge:
  16. Familiarity with the Supervision and Regulation function and associated systems is a plus.
  17. Soft Skills:
  18. Strong desire and motivation to solve challenges in a large and complex program.

  • Design, build, and lead the testing of automated frameworks.
  • Ensure traceability from business requirements to test outcomes.
  • Lead test strategies and quality assurance efforts.
  • Maintain and deploy data pipelines, ensuring reliability and security.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet business needs.
  • Ensure automation-first strategies for testing and deployment.
