This full-time role is based in Durham, NC, with a hybrid work schedule requiring onsite presence three days a week. The Security Analyst will work with cutting-edge security tools, monitor threats, and ensure compliance with industry regulations, including the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (GLBA).

Required Skills & Experience
  • 2+ years of experience in information security, cybersecurity, or related roles
  • Proficiency with security tools like SIEMs, vulnerability scanners, DLP, and EDR solutions
  • Hands-on experience with threat modeling, penetration testing, and risk assessment
  • Knowledge of networking, cloud security, and DevSecOps principles
  • Familiarity with regulatory frameworks such as GLBA
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Desired Skills & Experience
  • Experience with scripting and automation (Python, Bash, PowerShell)
  • Industry certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CySA+, or equivalent
  • Strong communication skills for cross-team collaboration
