We are looking for a motivated Sales Engineer to drive business growth by analyzing quotation opportunities, estimating project costs, and preparing comprehensive customer proposals.

Sales Proposal Switchgear Engineer Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond swiftly to customer quotation inquiries
  • Quickly assess client challenges and offer technical solutions using electrical expertise
  • Collaborate closely with engineering teams to develop tailored solutions that address customer needs while evaluating project risks, profitability, scope, and timelines
  • Position the company as the go-to consultant and problem-solver for clients

Sales Proposal Switchgear Engineer Qualifications:

  • BA or BS with 2+ years of electrical power industry experience, or Associate Degree with 4+ years of experience, or HS diploma with 10+ years of relevant experience
  • Strong knowledge of switchboards, switchgear, electrical distribution systems, electrical/mechanical principles, control wiring, and schematics; experience with voltage ranges from <600V to 69KV
  • Proven track record in effective proposal processes and methods
  • Solid financial understanding, particularly related to profit margins
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders
