Web Sockets- Full Stack React Developer

Summary
Our client is seeking a Full-Stack React Developer to help build-out a new application and platform using WebSockets.
Responsibilities

• Lead the project from scratch using React, WebSockets, AWS, Node.js, and GraphQL by taking high-level business requirements, refining them, then designing and coding the functions working in 3-week iterations.
• Analyze, design, develop, maintain, and test Web applications.
• Evaluate requirements, work closely with clients to develop a solid software design, and then create the technical specifications and document the required changes or enhancements.
• From the documentation, develop code and unit test all code before handing it over to QA.
• Utilize working knowledge of related disciplines to develop solutions to a range of problems and ensure that solutions and/or changes are implemented effectively.
• Participate in the design and code reviews of teammates changes.
• Make recommendations for addressing technical problems and implementing effective methods.
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring to junior developers as they work to complete their assignments.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience developing and maintaining secure, high-performance, high-volume web applications using React.js, where the front-end is built with React.js and Node.js powers the services.
• Experience with the following tools:
  • WebSockets;
  • Node.js;
  • Redux;
  • JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Experience working in an Agile environment.
