GIS (AUTOCAD) TECHNICAL ANALYST

SCOPE OF WORK:

Seeking a professional services resource to provide GIS (AutoCAD) Technical Analyst services. Contractor is expected to work independently to do the following:

Day to Day tasks support:

  1. Install Autodesk Packages from Software Center, Approve Licenses and access to Production ACAD profiles.
  2. Troubleshoot Autodesk apps in case of issue (windows, Software Center, etc.).
  3. Write/Update LISP routines when needed.
  4. Troubleshoot Profile Issues (Update Profiles if needed).
  5. Troubleshoot Plotter issues.
  6. Administer Production Server Profiles to tailor business needs.
  7. Administer Licenses.

Application Upgrade tasks:

  1. Request Tests machines (as needed).
  2. Download and test all required software (roughly 13 executables) and hotfixes.
  3. Work with ESS to update packages with those executables.
  4. Work with business to clean up their support files on server SWPVENGSW06.
  5. Create new Environment for Profiles on server SWPVENGSW06.
  6. Recreate Profiles (several profiles total).
  7. Update current configurators.
  8. Test interfaces with other applications (e.g., McLaren).
  9. Work with Teams get the application tested.

Mandatory Requirements

  1. Minimum 3 years direct AutoCAD development, configuration, administrative experience
  2. Must have LISP routine development experience
  3. Experience installing and testing packages

Technical Requirements

Ability and knowledge needed to execute all aspects of required tasks (see above).

Desirable Qualifications

  • Recent AutoCAD training and/or certifications

Assumptions

  • It is expected that the contractor will be available onsite for meetings and to facilitate the gathering of requirements, documentation, etc.
  • Contractor will be able to work offsite, as project work allows and with prior written approval from the cleint Information Security Manager. Contractor will be responsible for providing their own workstation and software when working offsite.
  • Client Cyber Security requirement is that candidate is required to work within the United States (U.S) while fulfilling tasks for this contract. Working outside the U.S will be viewed as a breach and contract will be terminated immediately.
