Title: ServiceNow Engineer (Workforce Management)

Start: Immediate

Duration: 6-12 months (Likely long extension)

Location: Remote

Responsibilities:

Designs, codes, tests and debugs applications and components that meet all technical specifications and business requirements per assigned work items.

Works closely with lead engineer to develop the best technical design and approach for new product development.

Collaborates closely with ServiceNow Business Analysts on developing requirements and may assist with estimating.

Instills best practices for software development and documentation, assures designs meet requirements, and delivers high-quality work on tight schedules.

Translates business requirements and designs into technical solutions, recommends alternative technical and business approaches, and leads engineering efforts to meet aggressive timelines with optimal solutions.

Operational Excellence building, deploying, monitoring, and operation of production services.

Mentor other software engineers.

Leads engineering efforts for their feature team.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor s degree in computer science, Information Technology or Computer Engineering or related field or related field or 7 years relevant experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain Tier 3 government clearance.
  • 5+ years experience in full lifecycle of software development projects in an agile environment.
  • Experience with developing ServiceNow Inventory.
  • Experience with developing ServiceNow Warehouse.
  • Experience with developing ServiceNow Order Management.
  • Experience with developing ServiceNow Integrations.
  • Experience with developing Custom applications.
  • Experience with Automated Test Framework (ATF).
  • Experience leading a ServiceNow development project.
  • Experience partnering with outsourced development teams.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred:

  • ServiceNow Application Developer Certification.
  • Completed ServiceNow Administration Fundamentals (SNAF).
  • Experience with ServiceNow Field Service Management.
  • Basic understanding of cloud infrastructure and automated provisioning & configuration management.
  • Basic understanding of networking and internet protocols.
