We are seeking a highly skilled ETL Developer with a strong background in designing, developing, and maintaining ETL processes. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL), and be familiar with a wide range of tools and technologies. Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain ETL processes using Talend that transform raw data into structured, usable formats.
  • Perform data extraction from a variety of sources such as databases, APIs, and flat files.
  • Implement data transformations using SQL, Python, or ETL tools, ensuring data quality and consistency.
  • Build and maintain scalable data pipelines for smooth, continuous integration into the data warehouse.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and develop effective ETL solutions.
  • Conduct data profiling and quality checks to ensure the accuracy of loaded data.
  • Troubleshoot and optimize ETL workflows for performance improvements and error reduction.
  • Write efficient, reusable SQL queries and scripts.
  • Ensure ETL processes are well-documented and follow industry best practices.
  • Create and maintain automated testing procedures for data validation.
  • Collaborate with data architects and analysts to optimize data models and storage solutions.
  • Monitor and support ETL processes in production to ensure availability and optimal performance.
  • Stay current with emerging trends in data engineering and ETL technologies.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in ETL development or a similar role.
  • ETL tools: Proficiency in ETL tool- Talend
  • Databases: Strong command of SQL and experience with relational databases like SQL Server, or PostgreSQL.
  • Data warehousing: Experience with data warehousing technologies like Amazon Redshift, Google Big Query, Snowflake, or Teradata.
  • Scripting: Knowledge of scripting languages like Python, Shell, or Perl for process automation.
  • Cloud Platforms: Experience with cloud-based ETL solutions, particularly A WS (Glue, Redshift), Google Cloud (Dataflow, Big Query), or Azure (Data Factory).
  • Data Modelling: Familiarity with data modelling principles.
  • Version Control: Experience with Git or other version control systems.
  • Data Quality and Testing: Knowledge of data quality management, profiling, and testing frameworks.

Educational Requirements:

  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
