We’re seeking an experienced Senior Infrastructure Engineer with strong skills in Azure, Microsoft services, and automation to support the Firm. In this position, you will architect, build, and maintain critical IT systems while driving cloud migrations and ensuring 24/7 operations. You’ll collaborate across teams to deliver secure, scalable, and highly available solutions.

This is a hybrid role based in New York City, with an expectation of regular in-office and remote work.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Cloud Migrations & Automation

 Lead and assist with projects to transition on-premises services (e.g., OneDrive, Entra ID, Intune) into Azure and Office 365. Develop and maintain deployment scripts (i.e. PowerShell, ARM) to automate tasks.

Infrastructure Operations & Governance

 Refine established Azure environment to ensure robust security, compliance, and consistent configurations. Manage role-based access control (RBAC), identity governance (conditional access, Entra ID, PIM), and continuous monitoring to ensure best practices.

Networking & Security

 Design and optimize Azure networking (subnetting, NSGs, vNet peering) to balance performance and cost. Implement and maintain Azure security features (Policies, Conditional Access, MFA) and conduct regular audits to mitigate risks.

Collaboration & Problem Solving

 Work cross-functionally to address complex technical challenges, troubleshoot critical issues, and continuously improve system performance and reliability.

Documentation & Standards

 Maintain comprehensive system documentation, procedures, and business continuity plans to ensure consistency and clarity.

 Performs other duties, as assigned.

Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Information Systems or equivalent experience
  • 8+ years managing enterprise IT infrastructure (including migrations to cloud services)
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Azure, the traditional Microsoft service stack (AD, DFS, GPOs, PKI), Citrix, VMware, and network storage
  • Strong scripting (PowerShell, Python) and DevOps (CI/CD) expertise

 Technical Skills

  • Must demonstrate significant experience and skills at or beyond the Microsoft AZ-104 level, inc. Conditional Access, PIM, RBAC, Entra ID, Networking and cost optimization
  • Experience with other enterprise infrastructure systems such as Citrix, VMware, physical servers, network storage, backup systems, strongly preferred

 Soft Skills

  • Excellent communication, able to convey technical concepts to diverse customers
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting capabilities
  • Willingness to participate in on-call rotation and provide after-hours support
  • Available to work additional hours as needed, including nights and weekends.
