Job Title: IT Business Analyst
Location: Toronto
Contract Duration: 6 Months

Are you an experienced IT Business Analyst looking for a dynamic contract opportunity in Toronto? We re seeking a skilled professional to join our team for a 6-month contract.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their objectives, processes, and requirements, translating them into clear business and functional requirements.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of existing business processes, systems, and data to identify areas for improvement and recommend innovative solutions.
  • Facilitate workshops and meetings to gather and document business requirements, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of stakeholder needs.
  • Analyze and document business processes, workflows, and use cases, identifying gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities for automation or optimization.
  • Work closely with development teams to ensure technical solutions align with business objectives.
  • Create and maintain detailed documentation, including business requirements, functional specifications, use cases, and test plans.
  • Collaborate with QA teams to develop and execute test plans, ensuring solutions meet defined requirements and quality standards.
  • Support the implementation and rollout of IT solutions, providing guidance and assistance to end users during the transition period.
  • Conduct post-implementation reviews to evaluate the effectiveness of solutions and identify areas for further improvement.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an IT Business Analyst, with a track record of successfully delivering business analysis activities in complex IT projects.
  • Strong knowledge of business analysis methodologies, tools, and techniques, including requirements elicitation, process modeling, and data analysis.
  • Familiarity with SDLC methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to propose innovative solutions.
  • Strong communication skills, capable of conveying technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience in conducting workshops, interviews, and requirements gathering sessions with business stakeholders.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects effectively.
