Job Details
We're looking for someone with a software engineering mindset who enjoys building systems, automating workflows, and resolving inefficiencies. A strong customer-first attitude and the ability to improve upon existing systems are key.
Key Skills Required:
- Strong experience automating systems using Python
- Bash scripting
- Building and managing Dockerfiles and Docker build systems
- Familiarity with AWS/Google Cloud Platform services (compute, databases, artifact registries)
- Experience with Ubuntu, Python, and C++ stack and build processes
- Proficiency with CI systems like Jenkins, Ansible, or TravisCI
Preferred Experience:
- GitHub Actions and Jenkins build pipelines
- Artifactory
- CMake/C++
- ROS build systems
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and report on CI system performance
- Refactor bash automation into maintainable, testable Python services
- Improve Docker build layering and Python dependency management
- Deliver measurable improvements in build cycle time
- Collaborate with engineers to troubleshoot and reduce flaky tests and build instability
- Enhance code standards (linters, formatters, dependency management, etc.)
