Robert Half (Technology Solutions) is searching for a Sr. Manager of IT Portfolio & Strategy with a background in Project/Portfolio Management, Infrastructure Strategy, Cloud Modernization (Azure), Jira/Confluence, Change Management, Agile/Waterfall, and other applicable skills. Responsibilities:

Operate as an intermediary between the infrastructure team and engineering team, especially in the context of cloud environments

Manage various IT projects, ensuring efficient execution and timely completion

Communicate effectively with executive team members, providing status updates, project roadmaps, and other relevant information

Utilize Agile methodologies in managing projects, with a balanced approach that incorporates Waterfall elements

Maintain proficiency in tools such as Jira and Confluence for project tracking and documentation

Hold project teams accountable, ensuring they meet their regular cadence and project milestones

Collaborate with the data team, business solutions team, and service desk team on various projects

Lead the cloud migration projects, including transitioning legacy systems to Azure

Develop executive-friendly plans and effectively manage ongoing Azure migration projects.

Requirements

Minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role or related field
Proficient in Cloud Technologies, including Microsoft Azure
Experience with Content Management System (CMS)
Strong Contract Management skills
Mastery of Microsoft Office Suite
Familiarity with Agile Scrum, Agile Development, Agile Frameworks, Agile Software Development, and Agile Workflows
Experience in Auditing and implementing Best Practices
Proven abilities in Change Management
Coding skills
Proficient in JIRA, Atlassian Jira, and Confluence
Knowledge of both Waterfall Agile and Waterfall methodologies
Experience in Cloud Management and Cloud Migration
Proficiency in Azure DevOps and Windows Azure
Strong strategic thinking and portfolio management skills
Excellent problem-solving capabilities and critical thinking skills
Outstanding leadership and team management abilities
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced and challenging environment
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
