Air and Missile Defense (AMD) Power BI Developer

We are looking for an Air and Missile Defense (AMD) Power BI Developer to join our team to support the IFMC AMD Mission Command Product Office, a government program office addressing Army Air and Missile Defense systems, with a focus on Mission Command systems.

Your day-to-day work will include:

• Collaborating with business management analysts, operations, and other directorates to build data analytics outputs and knowledge management components for an Army Project Office.
• Using a variety of platforms, tools, and financial management systems to create a data analytics environment, using Power BI, for use across all levels of the Project Office.
• Administrating, maintaining, and sustaining the Power BI-based environment hosted by the Army.
• Analyzing existing business processes, information workflow, data storage, and control procedures to identify opportunities for increased efficiencies and process improvement.
• Creating Power Apps to optimize staffing and other internal operational processes within the Project Office, as well as automation solutions.
• Other duties as assigned.

At a minimum you should have:

• ship and residency in the Huntsville, AL area or be willing to relocate to the Huntsville, AL area.
• An active SECRET security clearance and the ability to maintain.
• Bachelors or Master's Degree in Information Technology, Data Analytics, Data Science, or related field/equivalent experience.
• 5 to 10 years of relevant experience.
• Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and customers within an office environment.
• Strong organizational skills to prioritize and complete multiple projects.
• A high degree of skill with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
• The ability to work with minimum guidance in addressing actions, and then use knowledge, ingenuity, innovation and experience to complete the product.
• Excellent communication, collaborative and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to take direction well and function independently.
• JavaScript and/or JSON experience preferred.
• Experience in HTML/CSS and CMS tools preferred

You will be highly desirable if you have:

• Proven experience working with Microsoft PowerBI data model and dashboard design and implementation with data visualization best practices.

Estimated Salary Range: $110,000 - $145,000

The provided salary range serves as a broad reference. However, Intrepid takes various factors into account when establishing base salary offers, including the position's scope and responsibilities, as well as the candidate's experience, education, skills, and prevailing market conditions.
