Our government client is looking for experienced PeopleSoft HCM Technical Consultant on a hybrid 6+ months renewable contract opportunity in Clemson, SC.
Role: PeopleSoft HCM Technical Consultant
Note: Remote Work Availability 75%
SCOPE OF THE PROJECT:
Utilize PeopleSoft HCM experience in Payroll, Time & Labor Absence Management and Core HR to implement PeopleSoft Time and Labor & Absence Management in conjunction with agency processes, policies, and rules. This requires extensive knowledge and applied application of delivered HCM 9.2 Time & Labor and Absence Management functionality to effectively align agencys business requirements with technical functionality.
Required in this effort is a strong technical understanding of and experience with Time Reporting Codes, Workgroups, Schedules, Task Groups, Rules, Reported Time, Payable Time, Scheduled Time, and Exceptions to configure timekeeping for groups of employees using timestamp and elapsed time methods. Additionally, configuration will include multiple FLSA overtime period definitions, multiple holiday calendars and multiple definitions of leave accruals (different position types accrue different types of leave and/or different rates depending on position type, daily standard hours and/or years of service). Advanced level work experience in Time & Labor Approval Framework Setup and Process Flow for Reported Time and Payable Time required. Expert in developing Test Plan, Test Cases, Test Scripts and conduct full end to end testing process using Time and Labor and Absence Management. Work with QA team to create test scripts using the PeopleSoft Test Framework.
Additional areas needing expert experience and understanding include Time & Labor Security, including Dynamic Groups, Static Groups and Time & Labor Permission List Security, as well as Absence Management setup, configuration, and Business Process Flow. A strong background in integration of Time & Labor with PeopleSoft Payroll is required to fully integrate timekeeping and absence management into the existing payroll system and business processes.
Will provide hyper care for at least 3 months following implementation in the production environment.
