A growing engineering team is looking for their next Systems Engineering mastermind in Smyrna, GA! This company is hiring full-time, in office 4 days per week in their local Atlanta HQ. They are hiring for a Senior Linux Systems engineer to help them automate their infrastructure.
This company is the largest retailer in the country for resourceful building equipment for contractors. As the Systems engineer, you will be hands-on scripting with PowerShell/Bash in a primarily Linux environment. You will be the backbone of a junior team, to help them provision the infrastructure so it can run properly. A strong application will have strong abilities with Linux, RedHat, Powershell, Bash, Python, and experience working in an AWS environment.

Required Skills & Experience

• 10+ years of experience as a Linux Systems Engineer
• Cloud environment experience (AWS/ Google Cloud Platform preferred)
• Scripting abilities with PowerShell, Bash, or Python
• Strong knowledge of Kubernetes and Docker
• Helpdesk portal management experience
• Strong skillset working with VMware

Desired Skills & Experience

• Ability to commute to the Smyrna area weekly.
• Strong communication skills
• Networking experience with Cisco/ Meraki
• Ability to problem solve in a fast-paced environment
• BS in IT, or similar degree
