Are you passionate about analyzing digital marketing data to drive performance improvements? As a Website Performance Analyst, you'll play a key role in optimizing our clients' digital presence across websites, eCommerce, and paid media channels. You will be responsible for reviewing and analyzing performance data, creating dashboards, and delivering actionable insights that enhance user interactions and drive business success. Working closely with our marketing, media, development, SEO, search, and data analyst teams, you'll leverage your expertise in data analysis and optimization to provide strategic recommendations and support data-driven decisions.

What you'll do as Website Performance Analyst:

Performance Monitoring and Analysis:

  • Track and analyze online performance metrics, including but not limited to page load times, bounce rates, traffic sources, and user behavior.
  • Utilize analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Excel, Looker Data Studio, Google Data Studio, SEO tools, etc. to generate data.

Reporting and Insights:

  • Generate regular performance reports and present findings to internal teams and clients.
  • Provide actionable insights and recommendations to improve online performance and user experience.

Optimization:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including web developers, designers, content creators, SEO and search specialists, to implement data-driven strategies that enhance online speed, usability, and overall performance.
  • Conduct A/B testing and other experiments to identify the most effective strategies for optimization.
  • Evaluate content performance, including page views, click-through rates, bounce rates, and conversion rates, and make recommendations for content optimization.

SEO and SEM Support:

  • Assist in optimizing websites for search engines to improve organic search rankings.
  • Support paid search campaigns by providing performance data and insights.

Client Communication:

  • Assist with new business proposals by providing analytics insights as needed.
  • Audit and analyze analytics accounts of potential new clients to assess needs and opportunities.
  • Engage in limited client communication when necessary.

Knowledge and skills required for the position are:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Computer Science, Statistics, Information Science or a related field.
  • 3+ years proven experience as a Website Performance Analyst or similar role in a digital marketing or advertising agency.
  • Experience with marketing analytics tools and techniques, including interactive analytics, social media analytics, marketing automation, and CRM tools
  • Strong understanding of SEO, SEM, and digital marketing principles.
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to interpret data and develop actionable insights
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Experience with A/B testing and other optimization techniques.
  • Advanced knowledge of Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager
  • Advanced experience with one or more of the following tools: Google Data Studio, Power BI, Datorama, Tableau, or other equivalent reporting platforms
  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and web development principles is a plus.
