Oracle Integration Architect (OIC) W2

EAST COAST BASED CLIENT -Columbus OH

Duration 8-months

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement end-to-end integrations between Shopify (storefront), Oracle OIC, Oracle ERP, and other backend systems (e.g., CRM, PIM, WMS)
  • Map data flows for products, orders, inventory, customers, and payments between systems
  • Ensure secure, scalable, and fault-tolerant integration architecture
  • Troubleshoot integration issues and optimize performance
  • Collaborate with developers, ERP specialists, and business stakeholders
  • Document integration solutions, data flows, and system dependencies
  • Stay current with best practices in integration technologies and methodologies

Required Technical Skills

  • Expert knowledge of middleware configuration, adapters, and integration patterns, esp with Oracle Integration Cloud
  • Proficiency with REST/GraphQL for order management, inventory synchronization, and customer data
  • Strong understanding of Financials, Inventory, Order Management, and Procurement modules
  • Experience with XML, JSON, EDI, and familiarity with tools like XSLT or Oracle SOA Suite
  • Implementation of authentication (OAuth, API keys), rate limiting, and monitoring
  • Working knowledge of AWS/Azure for hybrid cloud components
  • Experience with MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, or Kafka for complex workflows is a plus

Experience Requirements

  • 5+ years in integration architecture, preferably in ecommerce or retail environments
  • Proven track record of successful eCommerce-to-ERP integrations, particularly with Oracle ERP
  • Experience implementing both real-time synchronization (inventory updates, order status) and batch processing workflows
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Preferably, Oracle Integration Cloud Certified
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities
  • Excellent communication skills to translate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing requirements
  • Proactive approach to identifying and resolving integration challenges
  • Commitment to maintaining high standards for system reliability and data integrity
