PC Technician

Description
We are seeking a dedicated IT Support Specialist with a strong understanding of change management within the manufacturing sector. The ideal candidate will have experience as an IT support resource in a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Provide IT Level 2 PC/Laptop Support:

• Offer advanced technical support for PCs and laptops, ensuring minimal downtime and efficient resolution of issues.

1. PC-Related Activities:

• Set up desks, including cable management, monitor and dock connections, and testing to ensure proper functionality.
• Handle various PC-related tasks to maintain an organized and efficient workspace.

1. Troubleshooting Support:

• Assist facility customers with device connection issues, providing prompt and effective solutions to minimize disruptions.

1. Equipment Management:

• Move or swap equipment within the warehouse as needed to support operational requirements.

1. Issue Escalation:

• Collaborate with internal IT partners and teams to escalate and resolve complex issues promptly.

Required Skills:

• Proficiency in desktop support, hardware troubleshooting, Windows 10, deployment, and imaging.
• Strong understanding of change management principles in a manufacturing IT environment.
• Ability to handle conflict effectively while maintaining a high level of customer service.
• Experience working with blue-collar end users, demonstrating patience and clear communication.

Additional Information:

• While ISO standards knowledge is not required, the candidate must understand the importance of not altering production line processes without proper change management procedures.
• The role demands excellent interpersonal skills to manage interactions with end users who may have varying levels of technical expertise.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00
