Salesforce Developer/Administrator

Only W2, Not able to provide any visa sponsorship. Six Months Contract to hire; 3 Days Onsite to Downtown Philadelphia, PA

The Salesforce Developer/Analyst Sr. will play a key role in supporting on-going application enhancements as well as the technical delivery of projects in relation to the Salesforce CRM solution. This person is expected to conceptualize, plan, design, develop, implement, and support advanced cloud-based solutions using the latest technologies and development tools to improve the efficiency of operations and decision-making.

This role is part administrator, part analyst, and part developer. He/She will be responsible for executing on the day-to-day configuration, support, maintenance, and improvement of the CRM platform.

Administration:

  • Serve as in-house expert and primary system administrator for the Salesforce environment.
  • Handle all basic administrative functions, including user account maintenance, reports and dashboards, workflows, and other routine tasks.
  • Perform monthly, quarterly and annual analytics on overall utilization trends, transactional outcomes, and overall system ROI and effectiveness.
  • Assist in training of new users and grow the Salesforce.com skill set across the organization.
  • Effectively act as the liaison between our users, vendors and the application development teams.
  • Perform configuration and customization of the Salesforce.com platform.

Developer:

  • Assist with implementing a strategy to ensure complete alignment of the platform s capabilities and users with the Company s strategic objectives.
  • Design, develop and maintain a series of complex workflow rules and business processes as defined through documented business requirements.
  • Utilize best practices to perform operational support, enhancements, bug fixes as needed to the Salesforce.com platform.
  • Partner with our Data Warehouse, Applications Development, and Web Applications teams to integrate Salesforce with internal systems through a combination of batch processing as well as real-time, web service API-based communication.
  • Assist in the coordination of evaluation, scope, and completion of new development requests.
  • Ensure that all data shared with and/or stored in the cloud is subject to the security policies defined in our corporate data governance guidelines.
  • Complete regular internal system audits and prepare for upgrades.
  • Manage Salesforce data feeds and other integrations.

 

Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and/or Related Experience

  • Bachelor s Degree in Business Administration, IS, Analytics, or other field with equivalent and relevant experience.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of Salesforce Administrative and Development experience.
  • Proficiency in HTML, XML, Flex, JavaScript, ASP, SQL, Java or C++, SOAP-based web services
  • Experience using Salesforce data tools (Data Loader, Excel Connector, DemandTools, Eclipse Force.com IDE)
  • Strong understanding of relational databases
  • Strong understanding of the platform, with the ability to build custom apps and objects, formula fields, workflows, custom views, and other content of intermediate complexity
  • PC proficiency, including MS Office Suite products as well as the ability to become proficient on required internal system applications on a timely basis.
  • Excellent project management skills and a positive attitude
  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, handle and prioritize simultaneous requests, and manage laterally and upwards
